A woman involved in the car crash that killed Vikings rookie Kyrie Jackson on July 6, 2024, and two of his high school teammates have been indicted by a grand jury on 13 charges, including drunk driving and negligent driving causing death. He was charged and arrested Thursday.

Cori Clingman was indicted nearly seven months after the fatal crash that claimed the lives of Jackson, Isiah Hazell and Anthony Litton Jr., the Prince George's County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Clingman faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.

“Each of these men's lives were special and important, and they were tragic losses for their families and our community,” Prince George's County State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy said at a news conference Thursday. “These three young men were on the right path in life and had great, bright futures ahead of them. But on July 6th, they were taken from us all.”

The car crash occurred around 3:14 a.m. on July 6, when an Infiniti Q50 allegedly driven by Clingman collided with a Dodge Charger and a Chevrolet Impala carrying Jackson, Hazel, and Litton.

The Charger left the road and struck multiple tree stumps, according to Maryland State Police.

Jackson and Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene, and Lytton later died at a hospital.

WJLA-TV reported The two cars were said to have been traveling together during a public road race before the collision.

Details of the investigation remained limited, but Brave Boy said Mr. Clingman's BAC was “at least” above the legal limit of 0.08%.

“This was a terrible tragedy that should never have happened,” Braveboy said. “This is truly the beginning of our fight to bring justice to these three young men, their families, Wise High School, the NFL, and this entire community.”

All three victims were football players, Hazell played at Maryland, and Charlotte and Litton attended football programs at Florida State and Penn State.
