This sticky-bodied porch pirate couldn’t wait for his package to arrive.
A brazen masked criminal in Columbus, Ohio, snatched the package seconds after it was placed on the doorstep while the FedEx driver looked on in disbelief. According to ABC News:.
“I was shocked,” homeowner Kyle Dorsch told the outlet. “I thought it was a joke at first.”
A video of the robbery captured on a doorbell camera has gone viral online.
The video shows an unsuspecting FedEx driver casually placing a package on the porch.
Seconds later, the video shows a hooded thief running up behind him, grabbing the stolen goods and running away, before jumping into a car waiting behind him.
“I’m really disappointed because I’ve been told this happens all the time in our community,” Dorsch told ABC.
“It’s costing so many people, including ourselves,” he said. “We work so hard to get what we have, and now it’s being taken away.”
Police have yet to identify or arrest the speed thief.
