Masked thief steals thousands of dollars from DHS Sec. Kristi Noem as she dines

The thief was able to steal the wallet of Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem meal Sunday night at a restaurant in downtown DC, Washington, DC.

The bag included $3,000, NOEM driver’s license, medication, apartment key, passport, blank check, make-up bag and DHS access badge. A NOEM spokesman confirmed the robbery in a statement to Blaze News.

The cash was intended to be used for Easter presents and activities for Noem’s families, as well as for dinner purchases.
