Authorities in Massachusetts have released surveillance footage of the moment a suspect fatally shoots a customer at a Hibachi restaurant in Brockton.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office released footage of the shooting Saturday. It happened on Friday at Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet.
Joe Araujo, 22, of Brockton, was identified as the victim, according to Boston 25 News. The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said he was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The video shows the suspect wearing a hoodie walking through the restaurant and approaching the booth where Araujo was. The video also shows children and families.

According to Boston 25 News, chaos ensued immediately after the shooting. Customers were seen running out of the restaurant and hiding under tables.
Police believe Araujo was targeted and that the shooting was not random, Boston 25 reported.

Brockton resident John Monagle told CBS News Boston that the incident was “horrible.”
“I mean, you take your kids out to dinner and you don't expect something like that to happen,” Monagle said. “I've never felt unsafe here.”
