Hailey Khalil Opens Up About Relationships Amid Lawsuit
Model Hailey Khalil shared insights about her dating life and former relationships in a recent interview. On that same day, her ex-husband, Matt Kalil, a former NFL player, filed a lawsuit against her, claiming she made intrusive comments during a Twitch livestream.
In her appearance on the podcast, “I’m Not Skinny, But I’m Not Fat,” Hailey discussed both past allegations of abuse and the dating apps she currently uses.
At 33, she reflected on her experiences with men, saying, “Like many women, I’ve faced emotional abuse, cheating — the usual struggles.”
She added, “One of my ex-girlfriends was physically abusive… that was a significant part of my history.” With a cast on her wrist, she mentioned the domestic violence incident she endured with an ex after her divorce and confirmed she has reported it to the police.
Currently single, Hailey is using Hinge and Raya to meet new people.
She didn’t delve into details about her marriage with Matt, who she wed in Hawaii back in 2015, citing “irreconcilable differences” during their divorce proceedings.
Meanwhile, Matt Kalil, who is leading a private life with his new partner, Keilani Asmus, since their marriage in April 2024, claimed in his lawsuit that the comments made during the Twitch stream suggested that the size of his genitals was a major reason for their divorce. He argued that these remarks have led to unwanted public attention for him and his family.
According to reports, the lawsuit states Khalil faced “unwanted public attention and invasive comments” and that these intimate details shared by Hailey harmed his reputation. He is seeking over $75,000 in damages and has requested a jury trial.
Last November, Khalil’s comments about her marriage became a hot topic when discussing her relationship with Kalil, asserting that his penis size was a pivotal issue in their separation.
Hailey did praise her ex-husband during the conversation, calling him a “good person.” She added that despite their disagreements, they maintained some links, mentioning that they were on the same phone plan for several years.
In a response to the lawsuit, Hailey expressed her shock and heartbreak. She stated that the truth is evident in their original livestream, which remains accessible. “I am truly shocked and incredibly hurt to hear of this lawsuit,” she remarked, highlighting the emotional toll they are both experiencing through this ordeal.
