Even when things don't work out for Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves, the famous Texan knows it's not the time to panic.
The couple is scheduled to appear on the podcast “Your Mama's Kitchen” on Wednesday, and in a preview clip obtained by People magazine, the “True Detective” star tells host Michelle Norris that food is his wife's first choice. He said that he often eases conflicts between couples.
“If I were to say in the midst of that disagreement, [be] That night, there was a cook, and I was making steak sushi, and if I were to give it to you, please cut off another bite and then serve it. There is no dissipation. That I gave her a present. About something we already really enjoyed. I just kept doing that,” he explained.

Disagreement doesn't mean the meal is over, McConaughey stressed, adding that the couple will never “stop serving” each other, literally or figuratively.
“I don't make as good a cup of tea as you do, but the fact that you make my tea and serve it to me in the morning makes me think, 'It's even better,'” he continued. Ta. “Even if you and I disagree, the fact that you make my tea in the morning or serve me tea… that’s the difference between being married and dating. That’s the difference.”
“Yes, guys, believe me, sometimes you don't want to serve that tea in the morning,” Alves admitted.

“But she'll still manage!” McNagy added.
”[When you’re] If you're on a date with someone and you suddenly have a disagreement, you think, “Oh, this is a sign of things to come.” You had better leave now. 'But you're married, you disagree, and you say, 'I'm not going to lower the parachute.' This is part of it. We will overcome this. I still serve my husband tea. I will continue to serve her steak sushi because I know she loves it. “Even if we disagree,'' he reasoned.

“Sweet foods can make things less tense,” the Academy Award-winning actor said at the beginning of our conversation. “Even if it's a nice chocolate or ice cream,” McCorney admitted, she doesn't really eat sweets.
“Maybe that's why that milkshake on Sunday night… meant so much,” he told Alves, apparently referring to recent events. “That was the blessing part. You and I got along really well over one dinner, and maybe the food was good, and maybe the conversation changed – the road took a turn – and suddenly we bumped into each other. 'We're on to something,' McConaughey suggested.
“That will never happen,” Alves joked.
