Travis Kelce was spotted with Kansas City Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Hollywood Brown on Sunday night during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
But the welcoming crowd at the American Airlines Center was not a welcoming one for the star tight end.
When Kelce’s image was shown on the arena’s big screen sitting courtside with his teammates and Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, he appeared surprised and the crowd immediately responded with boos.

But when Mahomes appeared on the screen, the crowd erupted in cheers, and Mahomes stood up, urging them to cheer louder.
Even the Mavericks’ social media team decided to make some fun poking fun at Kelsey, referencing her relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Patrick Mahomes says he takes “part of the credit” for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance
“Our Pat and @taylorswift13’s boyfriend are home!” the team posted to X, a video of Mahomes and Kelce sitting in their seats.
Of course, Kelsey and Swift’s relationship has been in the spotlight throughout the 2023 NFL season, with the football star being spotted traveling the world for concerts on his Eras Tour and love between the two remaining strong.
But their relationship has made some uncomfortable, with some thinking the NFL is drawing too much attention to it when she’s in a suite cheering on Kelsey during games.

Either way, Dallas fans clearly wanted to boo Kelce.
Mahomes, on the other hand, is a Texas native: The 28-year-old was born in Tyler, about an hour and a half outside Dallas, and played his college football at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, which is further west.
Both NFL stars watched as the Mavericks took a commanding series lead on their home court, with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving scoring 33 points apiece to win 116-107 and extend their lead to 3-0 in the series.

While the Mavericks will try to clinch a trip to the NBA Finals at home on Tuesday, Kelce and Mahomes will continue their offseason bonding and preparation with the Chiefs as they seek a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
