Barstool's Jersey Jerry took the golf world by storm on Thursday when he attempted a hole-in-one in a simulator at Pebble Beach. It may not have had the same excitement as The Sentry, but the man took 2,627 shots of him over 36 hours and ultimately put it in a hole It's pretty epic.
This incredible feat created such a buzz that even PGA Tour players were talking about it. I sent a shout out to Jerry.
Max Homa almost made an ace during Thursday's round. So what did he do?Homa posted on Twitter, and of course We went one step further.
Homa wrote, “@Jerrythekid21 please tell me how to get in.”
Why Homa's ball didn't go in the hole is a mystery, but I'll leave it to him to keep Jerry informed. Twitter and Social If there's anyone who understands how media works, it's the 33-year-old PGA Tour pro.
Of course, he predicted via social media what Jon Rahm would wear when he unveils LIV Golf. He has made countless other hilarious tweets over the years.
Jerry's reaction may have been more interesting than Homa's call for help.
The interaction between the Barstool team and PGA Tour players has grown over the years. These appeal to the younger generation who play golf and want to participate in the game. Despite what some people think, it's part of the growth of the sport.
Jerry's ace got so much attention that TaylorMade, LIV Golf, and even Pebble Beach recognized him on Twitter. It may not be common sense, but isn't this a way to spread golf to the masses?
Who would have imagined that 36 hours and 2,627 holes-in-ones would captivate so many people? We must expect a video of the two to be released in the near future.
