Maxine Waters dismisses LA riots while the city is in flames

Look beyond what your eyes may suggest – rely on Maxine Waters for insight. She’s been conversing with many folks.

Mrs. Macbeth had a clear understanding of the political landscape. Her advice? Simple yet profound: “It appears to be a harmless flower, but beneath lies a snake.” What seems innocent often conceals danger. Politicians, especially Democrats in Los Angeles, often focus on managing their image rather than addressing reality. Their primary aim isn’t to persuade, but to manipulate information. This creates narratives, diverts public attention, stirs empathy, and perhaps most detrimentally, leads people to cease independent thinking. Once that happens, they can act freely, influencing your property, liberties, and nation.

Instead of relying on our own judgment or trusting our perceptions, the radical left presses us to accept the cultural Marxist perspective that America is fundamentally flawed.

Occasionally, though, someone reveals their true intentions. Often unintended, the truth can be a dangerous slip for these individuals, but when exposed, it offers a rare glimpse into their hidden agendas and mindsets.

That moment came with Representative Maxine Waters (D-Calif). Her words were telling, both in meaning and intention, reflecting the mindset typical among today’s social justice politicians.

Picture this: chaos erupts across Los Angeles. A man drives by waving a Mexican flag as surrounding cars burn. The air is haze-filled and littered with glass. It’s clear that this isn’t a peaceful local assembly discussing policies.

Yet, amidst the turmoil, Waters and fellow Democrats—like Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass—chant, “There’s nothing amiss.”

Waters has given us a unique lens to view reality as it unfolds, stating things like:

“Even those coming out in what we called peaceful protests didn’t incite violence. No one was shot. No one was killed… I was there, I know… Don’t just believe what you heard or saw.”

In one statement, she performs an impressive feat of logic. Firstly, she claims no violence occurred, all while noting that some protesters were indeed chaotic. Secondly, she redefines “non-violence” to mean that unless there are fatalities, everything can be deemed peaceful. This rationale allows for police vehicles being damaged and city blocks being torched—a clear distortion of reality. If bullets don’t fly and nobody dies, then the left sees it as a sign of peace.

What’s really being conveyed is: “Don’t trust your observations.”

Though she concedes there were “a few incidents” and that video evidence exists, her advice remains the same: don’t believe your senses. Instead, trust her assertions and the narratives she, and her associates, are promoting.

This isn’t just an isolated incident; it’s the standard operating procedure of today’s left. DoubleSpeak has become the communal language within progressive circles. Every utterance comes wrapped in contradictions and is saturated with a veneer of moral righteousness.

Indeed, they might say, ‘Yes, that’s a man wearing a dress, but he’s a woman.’ Don’t trust your eyes or biology.

Or, ‘Sure, cities run by Democrats struggle with poverty and homelessness, but that’s just advocating for the marginalized, not governance failure.’

They proclaim, ‘Yes, once, working hard and studying were virtues, but now they signify structural racism.’

They assert, ‘Yes, universities teach resentment toward neighbors, but it’s all for social justice.’

And it goes on: ‘Yes, someone committed a crime, but that’s merely because they were caught by the police.’

Again and again, the left fabricates a topsy-turvy reality, expecting us to accept it as progress.

Let’s not be shocked. The Bible cautions against those who label good as evil. The left’s narrative hinges on this twisting of truth. Reality becomes unbearable if we believe our perceptions. Examining the outcomes of their policies reveals a profound lack of success.

Here’s the unspoken truth they evade: the darkness within their own intentions. They vow to create a just society, but their foundation lies not in virtue, but in desire and control. They aim to assist others, yet struggle to uplift themselves. Their dreams of a Marxist utopia are overshadowed by the shadows of their true motives.

When conservatives urge for governmental adherence to constitutional responsibilities, the left seeks increased government intervention to better their lives, especially aiming for “domestic tranquility” and “common defense.” Their dissatisfaction with life and unfulfilled aspirations are projected onto others, often blaming the very country they reside in.

They glance back at history and read Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron” not as a satire but as a guide for action.

The chaos unfolds in plain sight. People act out against the system not from a position of careful contemplation about justice, but from a lack of personal responsibility. Their struggles are always the fault of others, typically those who work diligently, abide by the law, and maintain their faith. While Democratic leaders appeal to compassion and critique the U.S. for the hardships faced, they neglect to mention the personal decisions that lead to those struggles.

Meanwhile, Karen Bass insists everything is just fine, even while her city descends into chaos and a curfew is put in place. Maxine Waters reiterates, “Don’t believe what you observe.”

I choose to trust my observations over their words. What I see is a radical left faction urging us to either think for ourselves or ignore our senses, while simultaneously promoting a Marxist narrative that vilifies the United States. And I refuse to accept that.
