Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), the youngest member of Congress, lamented his absence from House footage used in the fictional Amazon Prime Video series “The Boys,” saying he would have been seen if the tape had been played for “three more seconds.”
“Hey, they used footage from the floor of the house and I’m not there,” he said. Posted in X. “I think it was during the chairman’s vote… if the vote had been closed in three seconds, I would have been able to vote too.”

The show’s fourth season finale aired on Friday, and part of the segment included footage from the U.S. House of Representatives chamber, apparently filmed from one of the votes to select the speaker of the 118th Congress.
The House has voted for 18 speakers in total. Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) needed 15 attempts to become speaker, while current Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) took three attempts to win.
The photo features prominent Democratic lawmakers, including House Minority Whip Caitlin Clark (D-Mass.), House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.), Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), Rep. Joe Negeus (D-Calif.) and Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.).
Amazon added a health warning to the season 4 finale of “The Boys” on Thursday in response to the assassination attempt on former President Trump.
In statements posted to Instagram by “The Boys” and Sony Pictures TV, the show’s account said any similarities between the season finale and last weekend’s shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania were coincidental.
“The season finale of The Boys contains fictional scenes of political violence which some viewers may find disturbing, particularly in light of the injuries and tragic deaths sustained during the assassination attempt on former President Trump,” the statement read.
“The Boys is a fictional series filmed in 2023 and any similarities between scenes or storylines to real world events are coincidental and unintentional. Amazon, Sony Pictures Television and the producers of The Boys strongly disavow real-world violence of any kind.”
A 20-year-old gunman took aim at Trump during a rally in suburban Pittsburgh on Saturday, grazing him in the ear. He killed one rally attendee and wounded two others. Investigators have not yet determined a motive.
Recently, President Biden and many lawmakers have called on both parties to refrain from political rhetoric.
