On Tuesday, just before President Donald Trump addressed a joint Congressional session, musician and entertainer Kid Rock offered some advice to Democrats.
Host Jesse Watters said: You know one or two things about stunts. Is there anything they think they can do? Do you have any advice for them? ”
“Maybe I'll just stay quiet, sit there and learn something,” Kid Rock replied. “I mean, how was that? When Nancy knew, she did her little thing – tore her little thing apart. What? Is Ilhan Omar going to go out? I mean, just know, gather yours from your office, put the basket on your head, and go back to where you came. That's what I say.”
“When I actually played at Obama's inauguration, you told me,” Watters said. “So you're someone who respects the office. Isn't this about respecting the office these nights?”
“That should be,” replied Kid Rock. “It should definitely be. I mean, their message is so scary, and they're so bad with everything that's going on with this for the last four years, they're clearly in pain. And finally, you know, it's an old topic, but that's common sense. Just to hear it coming from a group of people. I've never been more excited by the group of people surrounding the president he's in office.”
He added: “I was lucky to personally know a lot of them. And, I was just on the Daytona 500 and it was like sitting with mutual friends, it felt like America. We celebrate America. This is all great about our country. And it really is. America's back, baby.”
