The Democratic primary for New York City’s mayoral race on Tuesday illuminated significant issues within the immigration system. The event showcased the presence of self-identified socialists in leadership roles across major cities, despite their apparent disdain for American values and the principles upon which the nation was founded.
Zohran Mamdani emerged as the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for mayor.
2. Mamdani’s support base primarily consists of young, educated, and progressive individuals. Among university graduates aged 18 to 34, a striking 67% favored Mamdani over Cuomo, who garnered only 6%. Additionally, a quarter of Mamdani’s supporters are in the 18-34 age bracket.

As the situation stands, the federal government conducts background checks on migrants seeking entry into the U.S. This seems logical, considering the potential risks posed by violent criminals or terrorists living in our communities. One might wonder, why not investigate ideological motivations tied to terrorism, like those blaming America for events such as September 11th?
This doesn’t imply that every immigrant must align with the current administration’s views. However, ideally, immigrants would respond positively to these fundamental questions:
- Do you respect the United States and its foundational values?
- Are you willing to uphold American ideals?
- Will you commit to protecting the U.S. from harmful ideologies that misrepresent American history?
The notion that all immigration is beneficial can have detrimental effects on the country. It’s not extreme to think that those who reside in the U.S. should genuinely care for and respect it. Historically, there has been a time when the federal government sought to ensure that those seeking entry wouldn’t harm the nation from within.
In the past, notable legal immigrants like Ilhan Omar and Sri Tanedar have espoused views seen as anti-American during their political careers. Yet, none have openly claimed a socialist agenda as boldly as Mamdani, who openly advocates for government control over various sectors, such as grocery stores and housing.
Alert 🚨NYC – Wake up before it’s too late. Zohran Mamdani has made clear that his political ambitions are driven by agendas beyond public service.
His focus seems to lie on Palestine and socialism, using discontent and Marxist ideas to seize power rather than genuinely serving the public…

Understanding someone’s beliefs can be tricky, but the ideologies held by Mamdani’s family were evident long before they arrived in the U.S. in 2018.
His father, Mahmood Mamdani, originally from India but raised in Uganda, earned a degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1967. He later pursued further studies at Tufts and Harvard. Currently, he is a professor associated with Columbia University but has taught in the U.S. for decades. Most Americans might not recognize his name, but academic and political circles certainly do.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Zohran Mamdani’s father has a history of denying anti-Semitism in academic spaces. Their views align closely, as seen in Zohran’s campaign…

Mahmood Mamdani has become known for his controversial writings, including “Good Muslims, Bad Muslims,” where he frames terrorism, particularly Islamic terrorism, as a response to Western imperialism. His perspective implies that incidents like the September 11 attacks are reactions to historical grievances against Western powers.
He has also explored themes of anti-colonialism in his works, addressing complex issues like genocide within the context of colonial history.
Mamdani in 2020 stated: “Police refunds are a feminist issue.”

The Mamdani family exemplifies the rise of radical leftist ideologies in the U.S. Their beliefs are fundamentally anti-American. Nevertheless, the current immigration system not only permits their presence but also allows them a chance at political power. If there is a desire to preserve the country for future generations, significant changes to this process are necessary.
