Mayorkas ‘Responsible’ for My Daughter’s Fentanyl Poisoning

Angel mom Josephine Dunn hit back at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday, saying he “takes some of the blame” for her 26-year-old daughter Ashley Marie's fentanyl addiction. said.

During Thursday's House Homeland Security Committee hearing, Dunn testified to lawmakers about his daughter Ashley, who died of fentanyl poisoning in May 2021, the day after her son's fifth birthday.

Mayorkas was invited to testify at the hearing and meet with Dan and his angel mom, Tammy Nobles. Nobles is suing President Joe Biden's administration on behalf of her 20-year-old daughter, Kayla Hamilton, for releasing into the United States an illegal alien MS-13 gang member charged with Hamilton's murder and rape. .

Mayorkas declined to attend the hearing and meet with Angel Moms, writing to Speaker Mark Green (R-Tenn.) informing him that he would not be attending.

“In my humble opinion, Mr. Mayorkas' border policies are partially responsible for my daughter's death,” Dunn said.

His expansive border policies are allowing tons of toxic fentanyl to flow into our country. Arizona is the fentanyl highway into the United States. Personally, I feel Mr. Mayorkas is responsible for opening the border to allow more than 10 million people to cross since February 2021. It supports the majority of illegal fentanyl into this country. [Emphasis added]

This weapon of mass destruction has killed more than 100,000 Americans on our soil for the second year in a row. Under Secretary Mayorkas' leadership, or lack thereof, fentanyl is an invasion.Weapons of mass destruction caused unimaginable numbers of deaths.an immeasurable loss to our nation's families, including myself. Dunn said Americans have the right to live in a country “fentanyl-free,” which began when Mayorkas closed the southern border through strict enforcement of federal laws to prevent drug trafficking and illegal immigration. Stated.

“My family is broken. My heart is broken; [Mayorkas] You couldn’t even come here today to hear me speak,” Dunn said. “If he has something more important than confronting me today, I don't know what it is. Our country needs secure borders. Our country is safe. It's natural to feel that way.”

“We need to close the fentanyl highway. We need to close our borders,” Dunn said.

Dunn revealed that she was testifying on her daughter's behalf on what would have been her 29th birthday, and accused Mayorkas of not having the decency to confront her daughter.

“Today is my daughter's 29th birthday. I should have stayed home today with my poor husband grieving,” Dunn said. “He didn't need to be here today. So whatever he does, I hope it's more important than that.”

In Biden's first two years in office, more than 200,000 Americans died from drug overdoses and poisonings, the vast majority involving fentanyl. Put another way, drugs and fentanyl will kill 70 times as many Americans in 2021 and 2022 as did the Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
