The Collector’s Meal will be available all day starting August 13th for a yet to be determined duration. The Collector’s Meal comes with a Collector’s Cup and an adult meal.

During breakfast hours, sausage McMuffins, egg sandwiches, hash browns, and hot coffee are available.

McDonald’s is betting that by tugging at customers’ heartstrings, they might open up their wallets.

The Collector’s Meal isn’t the first meal set McDonald’s has launched to attract cash-strapped customers.

On June 25, McDonald’s introduced a limited-time $5 Meal Deal that includes a McDouble or McChicken, four-piece nuggets, small fries, and a small drink.

The combo menu was launched on Tuesday, which was McDonald’s busiest Tuesday of the year, with restaurant traffic 8% higher than the average Tuesday so far this year, according to analytics firm Placer.ai.

Throughout the remainder of launch week, visitor numbers were up at least 5% from the year-to-date daily average, according to the data.

The world’s largest fast-food chain also launched “Free Fries Fridays” for app users, offering a free medium serving of fries with any purchase of $1 or more, a promotion that will run through the end of the year.

The “Collector’s Meal” was launched shortly after McDonald’s reported disappointing results last week, including its first sales decline since the early days of the pandemic.
