Pilar Sanders is ready to watch his son Shedeur Sanders make his mark professionally.
The mother of the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is looking forward to the moment when her son’s name is called in the 2025 NFL Draft, which will begin on April 24th in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Before Shedeur’s final NFL landing point is revealed, she will get to know the quarterback’s biggest supporter.
She shares three children with her ex-husband Deion Sanders
In addition to Chedur, 23, Pilar and NFL’s Great Dion Sanders welcomed their son Shiro and 21-year-old daughter Shiro during their marriage.
Pilar, creator of Health/Wellness, married the Buffaloes head coach in 1999 before his 2013 divorce.

How she supports her son’s NFL dreams
When her children end up pursuing their goals, Pilar is “always” there to help.
As part of Shedeur’s April 2025 profile, Pilar spoke to ESPN On how her sons were preparing for their future, and why they chose not to sign with an NFLPA certified agent.
“If you know the game, you play the game on both sides, on all sides, on all sides, and on your lifetimes, and you see a lot of contracts happening, you know what you want,” Pilar told the publication.
“When you’re confident in what you have, what you can do, where you want to go, there’s no reason to have to talk to someone for you.”
If she was in the role of Chedur’s agent, and if she had a conversation with an NFL executive about polarized QB, Pilar said: “No, I’m not going to say that.”
“In general, I always help [my kids] Whatever they need, I always trust me in every field,” she said.
