The $1.13 billion jackpot is the fifth-largest prize in lottery history.

Friday night’s win was the first time a Mega Millions jackpot has been won in California since Dec. 8, when two tickets matched an estimated $395 million pot figure.
The largest Mega Millions jackpot, $1.58 billion, was sold to a winner inside a Publix supermarket in Neptune Beach, Florida, in August 2023.
Saltines Holdings, LLC, a limited liability company, has elected to receive the award as a one-time lump sum payment of $794,248,882.00.
