The next Mega Millions drawing will be held on Tuesday, with players hoping to win an $875 million grand prize with a cash option of $413.5 million. A winner typically chooses cash over a Mega Millions annuity, which is paid out as one immediate payment and then his 29 annual payments.
According to the game, the odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 302,575,350.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won was on Dec. 8, when two California winners matched all six numbers and took home the jackpot. The prize money is $395 million.
