Mega Millions jackpot rises to $560 million after no grand prize winner

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Tuesday, when players will compete to win an estimated $560 million grand prize, which comes with a cash option of $258.4 million. Winners typically choose the cash prize option over the Mega Millions annuity payout, which is one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.

The Mega Millions jackpot is currently the ninth largest in the game’s history.

According to the game, your odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 302,575,350.

The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won was on March 26, when a winner in New Jersey matched all six numbers. Prize money: $1.13 billionThis was the fifth largest jackpot in the game’s history.

A record-breaking $1.602 billion jackpot has been won in Florida on Aug. 8, 2023.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Buying tickets Drawing nights on Tuesdays and Fridays are at 9:45 p.m.
