This morning kicks off with Megan Moloney joining the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders as the friendly rivalry with the Dolphins cheerleaders intensifies. Just the other night, Moloney had the DCC perform her song “Am I Okay?”

Yesterday, driving on I-75, I faced a downpour between northwest Ohio and Dayton. Honestly, it made me question my own driving skills—the number of vehicles parked roadside was mind-boggling, especially with trucks crowding the right lane. The left lane was completely free, too. Is it just me, or does parking that close to potential roadside chaos seem ill-advised? I told Screencaps Jr. that if you need to stop, it’s better to shoot for the next exit when possible.
On another note, New York Governor Kathy Hochul tried to bring some live excitement to the new stadium’s chants, but it didn’t quite work out.
Wes G. from Augusta, Georgia, reached out concerned about the weather, mentioning, “I hope you and your family make it to Dayton safely.” Thankfully, my dad and I held off on golfing due to the wet conditions all week. It rained a bit until the afternoon, but after that, we just sat outside chatting and enjoying the day.
As for the forecasts, they definitely missed the mark yesterday on western Ohio weather.
And then there was a mix-up with the way we write; like Pat pointed out, it seems there are grammar enthusiasts who take issue with informalities. However, I like to keep it loose—it’s not a scripted piece. I’m just a regular guy chatting with folks, not here to impress the grammar police.
On the lighter side, I received a note from Rick early this morning about a guy named Juan Osavín growing a beard, or something like that. Apparently, Rick’s a big Bears fan living in Mexico. He sounded a little out of sorts but seems to have a good spirit about things.
