Country singer Megan Moloney had to cut her concert short in Denver on Tuesday night, citing illness as the reason. She later shared with her fans that this was one of the hardest choices she’s ever had to make.

Moloney shared her feelings candidly, revealing, “I’m literally writing this backstage with my eyes wide open and I’m so hurt that I let you all down.” She announced that her concert has been rescheduled for August 27th, and tickets from the canceled show would still be valid for the new date. For fans unable to attend, refunds could be requested through their original point of purchase.

“I’m so sorry you had to go through this,” she concluded her message. Many fans responded positively online, emphasizing the importance of her health and encouraging her to take the time she needs to recover.
