Megan Moloney Celebrates a Tropical Christmas
Megan Moloney swapped her snowy Christmas for a sunny beach getaway this year. The 28-year-old country artist shared a series of vibrant vacation photos on Instagram, capturing her tropical holiday vibes.
In one striking image, she’s lounging on the sand in a bright red and pink bikini, flaunting her fit figure while sporting a stylish face-covering hat. There’s also a classic black-and-white photo of her with wet hair, seemingly on a boat, along with shots of a festive Christmas tree and her friends posing on the beach in pink Santa hats.
Followers flooded the comments with holiday wishes, and many expressed their excitement for her upcoming tour, which kicked off ticket sales earlier in the month. One fan joyfully commented, “Merry Christmas Meg!! See you in June!!🩷,” while another humorously remarked, “All I want for Christmas is a really nice tan… and to see Meg in concert.”
In a chat with a magazine last November, Moloney reflected on her impressive year. She had garnered the most nominations at the CMA Awards in September, crediting various artists for her inspiration. Among them, she cited Taylor Swift, noting how the diversity in Swift’s music inspires her. Meeting Swift is on her bucket list, as she admires how she navigates the industry. “I’d love to treat her to a drink or something,” Moloney said.
While on a promotional tour for her 2024 album, “Am I Okay?”, she embraced her inner Dolly Parton, donning white cowboy boots and bold blue jewelry for her performances. “I always look in the mirror and think, ‘Is this too much?’ But then I say, ‘No. Dolly would do it,’” she joked.
Moloney initially caught the public’s eye on social media back in 2021, while still in college. Her breakout single “Tennessee Orange” came out in 2022, earning her a dedicated fanbase, and her debut album “Lucky” dropped in 2023 to rave reviews and commercial success. Following that, her 2024 album “Am I okay?” also resonated well with audiences, both projects diving deep into themes of heartbreak and self-reflection that have spurred curiosity about her love life.
“Honestly, I’ve never been more committed to my career,” she shared with FOX News Digital in July 2024. “Finding love hasn’t been a priority for me, which I think is evident in my songs. There are a couple of hopeful love tracks, but they don’t last long—just like my romantic experiences lately.” She’s clearly focused on her music and her professional journey.
Recently, she was linked to fellow country musician Morgan Wallen. After speculation grew online, she opened up about her relationship with him on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. They met in 2020 and while they were never officially an item, she described their bond as more than just friendship, emphasizing their ongoing connection.
