This was a testimonial full of expletives.
Hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion wowed the crowd at Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Atlanta on Tuesday, performing her hit songs featuring vulgar, adult lyrics.
She took to the stage at the Georgia State Convention Center in a blue pantsuit and tie and rapped her Grammy Award-winning hit “Savage” in front of a crowd of about 10,000. Video Show.
The song, released in 2020, includes lyrics that brag about Megan being “that bitch.”
“P—y like water, I’m relaxed and untroubled,” the 29-year-old artist raps.
Another lyric from the song reads, “N-gas say I taste like sugar but I ain’t sweet at all.”
During a warm-up performance before Harris took the stage, the rapper was flanked on either side by dancers dressed in identical outfits.
Just over a week after Harris, 59, officially announced her presidential candidacy, the vice president told supporters in key battleground states that she was “underdog” in the race and slammed former President Donald Trump as a “predator.”
“Georgia, I’m so happy to be back. I know for a fact that the road to the White House runs through this state,” Harris said after speaking to the tune of her new campaign song, Beyonce’s “Freedom.”
Beyoncé also features on the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage.”
Tuesday’s rally was Harris’ second since she became a leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination after President Biden, 81, dropped out of the race.
“The momentum in this race is shifting, and there are indications that Donald Trump feels it too,” she said in the 20-minute speech.
Harris has addressed some of the issues important to voters, including economic concerns about inflation, and has promised to protect abortion.
She also vowed to solve the immigration crisis at the southern border, a major issue for the Trump campaign as it has been a persistent problem throughout both Biden and Harris’ tenure in the White House.
Harris is scheduled to announce her running mate this week ahead of the Democratic National Convention in August.
