Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen celebrating alongside Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian at a glamorous 70th birthday party for Jenner.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a series of photos, initially shared late Monday. In one image, Markle smiled while putting an arm around Jenner, and Harry had his hand resting on Jenner’s shoulder as she leaned in toward the camera.
This photo was originally posted by Kim Kardashian but was taken down just a few hours later.
In another snapshot, Markle and Kardashian stood together, the former glowing in a purple outfit while Harry was off chatting in the background.
Later on, Markle was seen joyfully dancing with Jenner as they celebrated.
On this special night, Markle wore a black high-neck dress with long sleeves, complemented by a sleek bun, gold earrings, and black stilettos. Prince Harry opted for a classic tuxedo, adorned with a poppy pin to honor Memorial Day.
On Sunday, images surfaced of the Sussexes arriving at Jenner’s extravagant bash, hosted at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $175 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
Several other high-profile celebrities attended, including Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, and Vin Diesel, along with the entire Kardashian clan.
The theme for the event, described as “007,” played on the clever pun of “007(0)” marking Jenner’s 70th year.
However, reports suggest that palace insiders were less than pleased with the couple’s cheerful appearance at the celebration. They expressed that it highlighted the inappropriateness of their return to royal duties.
According to a source, this behavior doesn’t align with what Prince William is trying to uphold within the monarchy. The insider remarked, “It’s in very bad taste.”
In January 2020, Prince Harry and Markle announced their decision to step back as senior royals, relocating to California shortly after.
