Markle and Harry Celebrate Dodgers’ World Series Win
Following the Los Angeles Dodgers’ victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen celebrating in a candid moment. The Dodgers claimed their second consecutive title after a nail-biting Game 7 that concluded in the 11th inning.
A video posted on Instagram Stories featured the duo, along with Markle’s friend Kelly Mackie Seiffen, who used to star in “Suits.” The black-and-white clip seemingly captured the excitement from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s private theater room, with Prince Harry sitting comfortably while Markle cheered enthusiastically off-camera.
Markle’s voice could be heard exclaiming, “Oh my god!” while Seiffen clapped and leaned over to kiss Harry before they both jumped up in celebration, sharing a joyful hug. Harry looked on, clearly amused by the enthusiasm.
Interestingly, while Markle has previously shown support for her hometown team, the Dodgers, hints of divided loyalties were suggested by Seiffen during the celebrations.
In another clip shared by Markle, she was seen walking toward Harry’s chair, visibly ecstatic. Amid the celebration, Markle declared, “Best game ever!!! Sorry your team didn’t win, but mine did. I love you @Dodgers!” However, this seemed to stir mixed reactions online. Some critics described her video as inauthentic, calling it “fake” or “staged.” One doubter even suggested that the camera angle appeared too set up to be genuine.
Amid the buzz, some fans pointedly noted that Seiffen had also declared her newfound fandom for the Dodgers, though only after some backlash for having previously supported the Blue Jays.
During the series, both Markle and Harry sported blue Dodgers caps while attending Game 4 at Dodger Stadium. Markle, a lifelong fan, mentioned that she was surprised by Harry’s support for the Dodgers, given her belief that ties to their royal background might suggest support for the Blue Jays due to their Canadian connections.
While enjoying the game, Markle wore a coordinated outfit that included a white shirt and navy sweater, while Harry opted for a casual navy blazer over a white tee. They were spotted seated not far from baseball legend Sandy Koufax, a moment that sparked some criticism about the seating logistics. Observers noted the peculiar arrangement, questioning how Koufax ended up farther back.
Nevertheless, Koufax appeared unbothered, engaging with the couple in a friendly manner. After the game, Markle shared a group photo featuring herself, Harry, and Dodgers co-owner Magic Johnson, captioning it with a nod to their exciting night out. It seems the blend of royal life and sporting enthusiasm continues to draw both admiration and scrutiny in equal measure.
