Duchess Meghan is getting into the holiday spirit just days after a now-deleted photo surfaced of her and Prince Harry at Kris Jenner’s birthday celebration.
The founder of As Ever shared a video showing the royal family getting ready for Christmas on Instagram over the weekend, where she also promoted the brand’s holiday collection.
Markle, 44, posted a video where she was seen stuffing stockings and captioned it, “Ah, I see you.”
“Thanksgiving isn’t even over yet, and this is already in your bag,” she noted in the clip.
In the video, she donned a simple green dress with her hair pulled back into a bun. A large, beautifully adorned Christmas tree stood behind her, twinkling with lights.
Markle had announced the launch of her first As Ever holiday collection on October 28. This collection features items like sparkling wine, candles, and fruit spreads.
Some products within the collection pay homage to her husband, Prince Harry, and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Her festive post followed some drama from last week, when she and Harry were seen at Jenner’s birthday bash, a star-studded event. Shortly after, all signs of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were scrubbed from social media accounts belonging to Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
A source reported that the couple requested the removal of photos from the party. This was likely to avoid upsetting the royal family, who seem eager to reconcile.
Earlier this week, another source shared that the royal family’s representatives reached out to ensure the pictures were deleted. “They’re trying to bring peace,” the source added.
In light of this, Markle reportedly supports Harry’s steps toward mending relations with his family, especially with King Charles III.
This effort might help smooth things over with the royals, but it seems to have strained her connection with the Kardashians. According to a source, they’re “angry with the Sussexes” for overshadowing what was meant to be a celebration of Kris.
