Meghan Markle marks Mother’s Day 2025 with a picture of Archie and Lilibet.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found themselves in the spotlight following a segment on Saturday Night Live during Mother’s Day weekend.

Colin Jost humorously targeted the couple in a “Weekend Update” sketch, joking about a new trade deal between the U.S. and the UK. He mentioned, “All the UK needs in return is that we keep these two,” as a picture of the Sussexes appeared on screen.

Meghan shared some heartfelt moments the next day, posting sweet photos on social media where she embraced her son Archie and daughter Lilibet on Mother’s Day. She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day! Cheers for juggling it all with joy!” adding that her children make every day a memorable adventure.

Meghan expressed her love for them in a whimsical manner, claiming she loved them “more than every star in the sky, every raindrop, and every salt in every French fry in the world.”

Before the SNL appearance, the couple enjoyed a night out at Beyoncé’s concert in Los Angeles. Meghan shared snippets from the concert, showcasing their smiles and a tender moment where Harry kissed her cheek.

She captioned one of her posts, thanking Beyoncé for an amazing evening and calling it a “very enjoyable date night.” Recently, Meghan has been vocal about her admiration for Harry, likening their relationship to a triumphant end in a video game.

On a podcast, she reflected on their partnership, saying, “That guy loves me so much. Look at what we’ve built: a beautiful life and two healthy, beautiful children.”

The couple, who married in 2018, stepped back from royal duties and settled in Montecito, California, in 2020. Harry has recently faced setbacks regarding security arrangements in the UK, stating he might never return with Meghan and the kids. Meghan hasn’t been back since the Queen’s funeral in September 2022.

Yet, Harry shared his feelings about England: “I love my country. I miss part of the UK. Of course.”
