Meghan Markle went out with her companion Serena Williams for lunch, so it was all smiles.
The Duchess of Sussex and retired tennis pros were photographed with arms linked while leaving Treroon, Italian restaurant in Montecito, California on Saturday.
They appeared to be fine and gave restaurant owner Jean Montesano and his wife a huge embrace on their way out.
Markle, 43, wears a blue pinstriped button-down shirt and matching pants, while Williams, 43, wore a dress with red sleeves.
The “Suit” alum took her to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of her 23-time Grand Slam Champion Bond with her 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lillivet.
The sweet clip showed Williams sitting on the ground while playing Candyland with the toddler.
“When my aunt comes and celebrates! Markle captioned a clip that was paired with Bill Withers' 1977 track “Lovely Day.”
She also captioned a photo of the founder of Wyn Beauty and Lilibet. “3 days until the party starts. Everything is invited ❤️@netflix.”
The former actress was referring to the new series “With Love, Meghan,” which debuted on Netflix on Tuesday.
Finally, Markle posted a photo of herself and Williams accepting.
The duo reportedly have been friends since 2010. Tennis champions have previously opened up about their “many” dependence on each other over the years.
Williams and her husband Alexis O'Hanian even attended Markle's royal wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. That's the moment she called it “historical.”
“The whole service was really great. Above all, I wanted to see my friends happy, and I think that's what happened,” she told Australia's talk show The Project in September 2018.
40-year-old Markle and Harry moved from the UK to California in 2020 after returning from their royal roles.
They purchased a $14.65 million home in Montecito. There, he currently lives with Lillivet and his five-year-old son Prince Archie.
