Meghan Markle Opens Up About Her Love for Prince Harry
Duchess Meghan recently shared her feelings for Prince Harry, reflecting on their love five years after they distanced themselves from royal duties. In a new interview featured in Harper’s Bazaar, she spoke fondly about their relationship, affectionately calling him “H.”
“He loves me so boldly and totally,” the 44-year-old shared. Meghan also mentioned how Harry views the media differently, highlighting the unique perspectives they both bring to their lives.
Continuing in the interview, she emphasized the strong support she feels from Harry: “There’s no one in the world who loves me more than him. I know he’ll always have my back,” she said.
Meghan revealed that it was Harry’s “childlike sense of wonder and playfulness” that initially attracted her. “I really found that appealing, and he brought that out in me,” she recalled, noting that this playfulness influences every aspect of their lives, including their professional endeavors.
The duchess also spoke about enjoying the ability to work from home while still being close to their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. She actively participates in various public events, like Paris Fashion Week, while balancing her family life.
“I’m thrilled to manage both—playing with my kids and sitting front row at a show,” Meghan expressed. “Once you start making personal choices based on outside opinions, you might lose your sense of self.” She particularly noted the luxury of having her workspace next to the kitchen, adding that it’s quite a privilege.
In the same breath, Meghan reflected on the intense scrutiny she faced after starting her relationship with Harry back in 2016. Looking back, she remarked that her boundaries have tightened amidst public challenges and how those experiences have pushed her to grow.
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the couple moved to Montecito, California, seeking a quieter life without incessant media intrusion.
In other news, Meghan was recently spotted on the set of a film, Close Personal Friends, where she’ll portray herself alongside stars like Brie Larson.
While reminiscing about her acting days, Meghan mentioned she doesn’t view her departure from that world as a loss but rather as a shift towards new opportunities. “I don’t frame it as giving up anything; it’s simply a change,” she added.
She acknowledged that she doesn’t foresee a return to acting, saying, “While I can’t say ‘never,’ my aim is to focus on other ventures.” Overall, her intentions seem firmly set on exploring new chapters in her life alongside Harry and their family.
