Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle’s estranged sister, has made headlines after alleging that their father, Thomas Markle, is trapped in an apartment following a significant earthquake in the Philippines. Samantha stated that he is stuck on the 19th floor and unable to walk.
In a tweet, she expressed her frustration, stating, “My embarrassing sisters put our father in this position forever, and I hope she is cursed.” Samantha, who is 60 years old, further declared her intention to publicly shame Harry and Meghan.
On Wednesday, she provided an update on her father’s situation after the earthquake, saying, “I want to expand my deep gratitude to everyone who expresses concern about my father. Thank you.” Earlier, she expressed her hope that a similar situation would befall Meghan and Prince Harry.
Samantha described her father’s current condition as stable and mentioned he has a plan to evacuate the building safely, noting regulations that should prevent such a situation from happening again.
In response to critics doubting her claims about the impact of the earthquake on her father, she pushed back, labeling the dissenters as trolls. She argued that it was ridiculous for these individuals to suggest that her brother, Thomas Markle Jr., was helping their father.
The earthquake, which occurred on Tuesday, registered a magnitude of 6.9 and has already resulted in a rising death toll, currently at 69, with rescue operations ongoing.
Earlier this year, Thomas, now 81, relocated to the Philippines, stating a desire to escape the drama surrounding his daughter, Meghan. He expressed an eagerness for change and a chance to meet new people.
It should be noted that Thomas did not attend Meghan’s royal wedding due to his involvement with paparazzi and the subsequent leaking of a personal letter from her to tabloids. Additionally, Samantha has previously sued Meghan for defamation, although that case was dismissed.
