Megyn Kelly did not take credit for reporting the contents of text messages between a defense attorney and a former law partner of a prosecutor who allegedly had a sexual relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis denounced CNN and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Kelly reported on Tuesday’s SiriusXM podcast about text messages between Ashley Merchant and Terrence Bradley, attorneys representing former Trump staffer Mike Roman.
Mr. Roman had hired Mr. Merchant to disqualify Mr. Willis from prosecuting former President Donald Trump for allegedly trying to interfere in the 2020 presidential election.
Bradley is a former divorce lawyer and law partner of prosecutor Nathan Wade, who was appointed by Willis to handle the Trump case, despite having a romantic relationship with Wade.
In court Tuesday, Bradley was called back to testify about text messages in which he said he “absolutely” believed Willis and Wade began dating before he was hired to head the Trump case.
Trump’s lawyer Steve Sadow pointed to a text message exchange from earlier this year in which Bradley revealed that Willis and Wade had been dating since meeting at a judicial conference in late 2019. He seemed to acknowledge it.
“Do you think it started before she hired him?” Merchant texted Bradley earlier this year.
“Absolutely. It started when she left the prosecutor’s office and was a judge in South Fulton,” Bradley responded.
Mr. Merchant asked Mr. Bradley in a subsequent text message. According to information and belief, Willis and Wade met while both were serving as magistrates and began a romantic relationship at that time. ”
Mr. Bradley replied, “There is no local court.”

Sadow accused Bradley of lying on the stand Tuesday as he appeared to be trying to distance himself from the text messages.
Bradley testified Tuesday that he doesn’t know when Wade and Willis’ relationship began, but that’s contradicted by text messages.
“I don’t know when it started or when it started,” Bradley testified Tuesday. “I never witnessed anything. I mean, it was speculation.”
“Why the hell are you speculating?” Sadow asked.
“I can’t answer that,” Bradley replied.
“Except for the fact that you actually know when it started and don’t want to testify that in court. That’s the best explanation,” Sadow retorted.
“That’s the real explanation. Because you don’t want to admit it in court, right?”
Merchant argued that the relationship between Wade and Willis was “inappropriate” and that Fulton County’s top prosecutor benefited financially by hiring Wade to work on Trump’s case.
She is asking the judge to dismiss Willis and the prosecution team.
