Melania Trump and Princess Catherine Visit Scouts at Frogmore Gardens
First Lady Melania Trump and Princess Catherine of Wales spent their day together visiting scouts at Frogmore Gardens.
For the occasion, Melania wore a stylish Ralph Lauren Bryn Belted Lamb-Suede jacket, which had those classic boxed patch pockets and a nice buckle belt that added some flair.
She completed her ensemble with Roro Piana trousers and Roger Vivier’s Pet Ballerina Flats, made of leather, which seemed perfect for the day.
On the other hand, Princess Catherine opted for a Me+Em dark green suede jacket, which she paired with a mid-length brown skirt from Ralph Lauren. The princess’s boots and a silk scarf from Sudbury Mill really seemed to capture that autumn vibe, which I think was a nice touch.
During their visit, the two attended an event where Chief Scout Dwayne Fields presented a scout scarf to Melania after interacting with the Scout Squirrel Program members. It looked like a delightful gathering, and I can’t imagine the kids didn’t love having two prominent figures there.
As they toured the grounds, both women met various scouts and engaged in activities designed to inspire. This visit seemed like a lovely blend of formality and warmth, showcasing not just their roles but also a genuine interest in youth programs.
In all, their outing at Frogmore Gardens felt like not just a state visit but also a moment to connect with young people, which is always refreshing to see.
