First Lady Melania Trump spoke on Friday about the “very difficult” times during her husband’s presidency, particularly addressing the investigations and legal issues that have affected their family. “We’ve been through a lot as a family. You have to deal with a lot. You have to be very strong and focused,” she remarked during an appearance.

Amidst various challenges, President Trump contended with multiple cases and indictments during the Biden administration, including an FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago residence in August 2022. Melania Trump described this search as an invasion of her privacy, noting that staffers went through her personal belongings.

Nevertheless, she voiced her support for her husband’s desire to run for the presidency again, stating they believe change is necessary. “I supported him. He wanted to run again. And I know this country has been in a very bad place for the last four years,” she added.

First Lady’s Humanitarian Efforts

Since returning to the White House, Melania has taken a more visible role, aiming to leverage her influence to help others lead “better lives.” Her humanitarian work often focuses on children, such as when she facilitated the reunion of 15 Ukrainian children with their families after discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

She noted, “They responded quickly, and we are still in touch about reuniting more children,” expressing hope for further success soon.

Advice for Her Husband

In addition to her public duties, Melania mentioned that she often advises her husband to avoid cameras. “Sometimes you listen to what he says, and sometimes you don’t, but it’s very important to have open communication in a relationship,” she explained.
