Melania Trump Releases Documentary
First Lady Melania Trump premiered her documentary titled “MELANIA” on Fox News, offering viewers an intimate look at her experiences leading up to her life in the White House.
During an appearance on “The Five,” Trump shared that filming the documentary was a full-time commitment, saying it consumed her life both “day and night.” She also noted the involvement of her son Barron in President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.
“That was my life,” she reflected. “No matter what I did, there were cameras following me around from morning till evening. I had to manage everything—organizing, returning to the White House, family responsibilities, preparing for the inauguration, business engagements, philanthropy, and setting up my office in the East Wing.”
Although she usually prefers to stay out of the limelight, the First Lady explained that the documentary provides a distinct viewpoint on her marriage to Donald Trump.
“I’m a very private person and selective about what I share, when I choose to speak, and so on—it’s nobody else’s business,” she stated.
The documentary, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, captures her experiences in the 20 days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration.
“There’s no point in second-guessing because you simply can’t do that,” she added.
This 104-minute film offers an exclusive glimpse into Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, and the White House, showcasing the contrasting demands on Melania Trump’s role.
Reflecting on her marriage prior to Donald Trump’s presidency, she noted that she had always believed he would eventually run for office.
“I kept telling him, ‘Just go for it, and you’ll win,’ because I knew how much people loved him,” she said during her interview.
Additionally, she mentioned that Barron, who played a significant part in his father’s campaign, is now 19. He was just 10 when Donald Trump was first elected in 2016.
“He understands what’s going on now and is involved,” she said. “He talks to his father and me.” Barron was active during the campaign, offering ideas and recommending influencers to engage with.
When asked about her husband’s signature YMCA dance, she admitted there are days when it feels appropriate and other times when it doesn’t quite fit, but ultimately believes it resonates with the audience.
Regarding the documentary filming, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld inquired if any Secret Service agents attempted to interfere. The First Lady responded, “No. Everyone was very professional.”
“Melania” opens in theaters worldwide on Friday.
