Melania Trump Displays Dior and Custom Hervé Pierre to Reveal Barbara Bush Postage Stamp

This week, First Lady Melania Trump showcased a touch of understated elegance in the East Room of the White House while introducing a USPS stamp that honors former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Accompanied by Dorothy Bush Koch, the daughter of Barbara Bush, Melania expressed admiration for the late First Lady, saying her “unwavering belief, dignity, and deep loyalty towards our loved ones left an indelible mark in our hearts and history.”

On this special occasion, Mrs. Trump opted for a chic white cashmere top paired with a Christian Dior oversized virgin wool and silk-grain de Poudre blazer, priced at $4,500. She completed her outfit with Christian Louboutin’s 100mm Kate Pumps, which retail for $845, along with a custom leather pencil skirt from Dior designed by her stylist and close friend, Helve Pierre.

Pierre has crafted several elegant leather pencil skirts for Mrs. Trump, who wore a color palette that included shades of purple, brown, orange, and ivory.

By wearing Pierre’s bespoke creations, Mrs. Trump continues a tradition in the First Lady’s office where French-American designers have dressed previous First Ladies including Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama.
