Former First Lady Melania Trump reflected on how she found out about the two assassination attempts on her husband in an exclusive interview with “Fox & Friends,” her first television interview in more than two years.

“I ran to the TV [rewound] “I saw it,” she said, referring to the live-televised assassination attempt on former President Trump at a mid-July rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I really [it] “I saw it live, I think it was maybe three minutes later, a few minutes later, but when I saw it, nobody knew yet. Because when you see him on the floor, you don't know what happened,” she told “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt.

The would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired several shots at the former president from the roof of a building about 130 yards away before being shot dead by a rival sniper.

The bullet grazed President Trump's ear, killed former Pennsylvania fire chief Corey Comperatore and injured rally attendees David Duch and James Copenhaven.

Melania Trump said she was in New York City when the second assassination attempt occurred on September 15 while her husband was playing golf at a club in West Palm Beach.

“I called him back immediately after seeing it on TV and the Secret Service was amazing and he was OK,” she said. “They were amazing, the team was amazing. And I think those two events were truly miraculous. When you really think about it, July 13 was a miracle. That's how much… he wasn't with us.”

The former first lady has been releasing a series of videos on social media ahead of the release of her autobiography, “Melania,” which is due to be released in early October.

In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) on September 10th, she asks for further clarification regarding the near-assassination of her husband.

“I can't help but wonder why the police didn't arrest the perpetrator before the speech,” she asked. “There must be more to this incident. We need to uncover the truth.”

The bipartisan Trump Assassination Attempt Task Force is set to hold its first hearing Thursday, detailing the security failings that led to the assassination attempt on the former president and current presidential candidate.
