Melania Trump said in an interview Monday that she is excited to serve four more years in the White House and is ready to be a key advisor to her husband, President-elect Donald Trump.
The first lady told Fox News' “Fox & Friends” that she feels more confident now that she understands the “rules” and “process” of being in the White House, adding, “I'm going to help my husband because there's a lot of work to do. I intend to do so,” he said. We need to do this to get the country back on track. ”
“The first time was tough and we didn't have a lot of information. This information was hidden from us by the previous administration,” she said of Trump's predecessor, Barack, before his first term. He talked about President Obama.
“But this time I have everything. I've made plans, I've packed my things, I've picked out my furniture. So this second time around, it's going to be a completely different transition,” she said confidently. .
“I think it's going to be an exciting four years. We have a lot of work to do to get this country back on track,” she said.
The first lady made it clear that she will not be deterred by people underestimating her abilities.
“I feel like people didn't accept me. Maybe they didn't understand me the way they do now. And I didn't have a lot of support.” She spoke about her first term.
“Maybe some people see me as just the president's wife, but I stand on my own two feet. “Yes” and “no,” she continued.
The 54-year-old admitted that while she doesn't necessarily agree with everything his husband “says or does,” she plans to help his administration in any way she can.
