Melania Trump Shares Life Tips with Cheryl Hines
Melania Trump recently shared some insights she gained during her husband’s presidency with Cheryl Hines, a newcomer to Washington, D.C. This exchange happened during an interview at the premiere of the documentary “Melania.”
Melania advised Hines to “have fun” in their new surroundings. “Life is incredible,” she noted. “There’s so much you can do; just enjoy it. We’re here for a few more years, but let’s make the most of it.”
Cheryl Hines, who moved to the capital with her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., commented on the adjustment to their new life. RFK Jr. was appointed U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services in February 2025.
During the premiere, RFK Jr. mentioned that he has seen a different side of Melania since they arrived. He felt that she has often been wrongly portrayed in the media. “That’s not her,” he stated, adding that Melania has made both him and Cheryl feel comfortable since their move. He emphasized her commitment to children’s health and foster care.
Cheryl Hines, known for her role in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” admitted that transitioning from Hollywood to Washington, D.C., was quite daunting. “It felt like starting over at 35,” she remarked, though she soon found herself surrounded by interesting and intelligent people that energized her life.
She also faced mixed reactions in Hollywood regarding her husband’s presidential campaign, noting that many in the entertainment industry were not supportive.
Hines and RFK Jr. have been together since 2011, having married in 2014. They managed to keep a low profile until the 2024 campaign brought them into the public eye. “We’re really good friends. I love spending time with him and our family,” she shared, acknowledging the challenges that come with their lifestyle.
