Melania Trump to Host Private Screening of Documentary
First Lady Melania Trump is set to hold a private viewing of a documentary that chronicles her life, specifically during the 20 days leading up to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration. This information comes from a White House advisor.
Titled “Melania,” the documentary will debut in theaters worldwide on January 30. However, the exclusive preview is scheduled for January 24.
According to Mark Beckman, who is both the First Lady’s advisor and the film’s producer, this screening will give the Trump family and their closest friends the first chance to see the film in full.
The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the First Lady’s preparations from January 1 to January 20, 2025. This is somewhat unexpected, as she has largely stayed out of the limelight during her husband’s current term.
Directed by Brett Ratner, known for the movie “Mirror Mirror” in 2012, “Melania” runs for 1 hour and 44 minutes and is set to be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios.
The teaser trailer begins with President Trump, dressed in his well-known 2025 inauguration attire—complete with a dark coat and wide-brimmed hat—jokingly exclaiming, “Here we go again.” It also features Melania suggesting the president present himself as a “peacebuilder and unifier” in his inaugural speech.
Beckman noted in an interview, “This is not a political film at all,” stressing the documentary’s style and mentioning that the First Lady was instrumental in the film’s creative process.
The film explores Melania’s fashion choices, diplomatic endeavors, and interactions with the Secret Service. Beckman also highlighted some amusing moments that showcase the president’s sense of humor.
In addition to the film, Melania announced the launch of a new production company, Muse Films, back in November.
Furthermore, President Trump is also expected to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on January 28.
