Melanie Hamrick’s Distressing Experience Outside London Club

Melanie Hamrick, who is engaged to Mick Jagger, reportedly faced a “physical attack” outside a London nightclub recently.

On Tuesday, the 38-year-old took to social media to describe her alarming encounter, expressing her gratitude towards those who came to her aid. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she shared, “It’s incredibly hard for me to share this, but I was physically attacked tonight at Annabel’s Mayfair.” She also thanked her friends for their support, mentioning, “Two people grabbed me from behind. I thank God for the good people who intervened to help me.” Hamrick added, “I am upset, sad and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way.”

A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police stated, “We are aware of an Instagram story alleging an assault in Mayfair on Tuesday, February 10th and are encouraging the victim to come forward.”

The police emphasized their commitment to reducing crime in the area, particularly regarding violence against women. They pointed out that increased patrols have resulted in a significant decrease in theft and personal robberies over the past year.

Representatives for Jagger didn’t respond immediately for comments.

Hamrick and Jagger, who began their relationship in 2014, welcomed their son, Devereaux “Devi” Octavian Basil Jagger, in 2016. In an interview from 2025, Hamrick revealed that she had been engaged to Jagger for several years. However, she expressed uncertainty about marriage, noting, “One day we may get married, or we may not. We are so happy with our lives that we are too scared to change anything.”
