In a portion of an interview that aired on CNN’s “The Source” broadcast Friday, Rep. Cori Bush (D-Missouri) declared: What can we do with our bodies in this country? ”
Host Caitlan Collins asked, “What do you think about the idea of some states not making exceptions, hearing from some members of Congress like Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio)? ” he asked.[T]Wrong does not make right. ” And the question is not whether women should be forced to carry their children to term, but whether the children should be allowed to live, because Americans who share that view Is it because there is? ”
President Bush said, “It’s up to the person, the pregnant person, to decide what they want to do with their body. Even if a child is born, no one would go out and kill the child after it is born. It doesn’t happen, it’s up to the person. And at the end of the day, especially in a lot of these states, white men from red states are asking people all over this country, women and pregnant women all over this country, what can we do? We shouldn’t be telling people what’s going on. It’s our own bodies.”
