Mentra AI glasses allow OnlyFans creators to livestream without using their hands.

Attention to all the curious tech enthusiasts! There’s now a way to livestream intimate content directly through smart glasses.

Thanks to cutting-edge technology, OnlyFans models and those intrigued by AI innovations can soon use $299 AI-driven eyewear to share their risqué moments.

According to the official site, “Mentra Live is the only smart glasses with an app store, so the experience is always evolving.” You can ask the AI questions about what you’re viewing, snap photos and videos, livestream across platforms (like Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and OnlyFans), listen to music, take calls, get real-time captions and translations, jot down notes, and more.

These glasses certainly offer an impressive array of features beyond just broadcasting adult content. Still, I think many will find that aspect particularly exciting.

This new wearable tech, set to launch on February 15th and available only in the US, will compete with established brands like Ray-Ban Meta, with a price range from $299 to $799.

However, Mentra Live distinguishes itself as the only product with an open-source framework. Its built-in MentraOS enables users—whether casual or dedicated OnlyFans creators—to broadcast globally.

“Other glasses confine you to a closed ecosystem,” the site adds. “Your personal data is used to target ads and gather insights about your life. (It’s a bit meta!)”

“With Mentra Live, you control your data, apps, and glasses.”

These glasses are also unique because they come with their own app store, which allows users to customize their experience with applications focused on note-taking, language translation, and receiving immediate AI support.

Designed for all-day wear, the lightweight lenses come in at just 43 grams, are compatible with WiFi and Bluetooth, and have a sleek black matte look. Plus, they feature a camera with a 119-degree field of view, HD 1080p video, stereo speakers, and three microphones for voice commands and calls.

It’s worth noting, though, that Mentra Live lacks a display.

The creators assert it’s a strategic choice: “Displays make glasses heavier and consume battery life. Mentra Lives rank among the lightest and most budget-friendly smart glasses available.”

Anticipation is building among tech fans eager to try out this innovative product.

One user on X called it “impressive,” suggesting it could really change the productivity game.

Another enthusiast inquired, “Is there a way to get it to Colombia? I think this open glass concept is fascinating.”

“It’s often said that ‘the Internet and VHS progressed due to adult content.’ Well, now we have smart glasses catering to live adult streaming,” tweeted another person.
