Mark Zuckerberg is now the world's second-richest person, surpassing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Meta CEO's personal wealth has soared to an all-time high. According to Bloomberg.
It ousted Bezos from his spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index on Thursday after his net worth increased by more than $3 billion to a whopping $206.2 billion.
According to the index, Bezos is the third richest person with $205 billion.
Bloomberg links Zuckerberg's accomplishments to those of Metaplatforms, the parent company of social media sites Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads platforms, which he co-founded in 2004.

Meta stock is up 69% since the beginning of the year.
Revenue for the first half of this year was $75.5 billion, including $39.07 billion in the second quarter. Meanwhile, net income for the first two quarters was $25.83 billion.

Before becoming the second-richest person, the tech billionaire achieved another wealth-related feat in late September, Bloomberg reported. Zuckerberg's wealth exceeded $200 billion on September 23rd. According to the media, only two people in the United States have achieved this goal: Bezos and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
