Mexican authorities have arrested three immigrants on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a decorated immigration official. Two of the migrants are believed to be members of the Venezuelan gang Torren de Aragua, and the third is believed to be a Colombian national.
The alleged murder occurred just after noon on Monday near the border city of Ciudad Juárez in Chihuahua state. According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by Mexico's National Migration Institute (INM), the incident took place at the Precos Samarayuca inspection center where agent Luis Alberto Olivas and other employees approached a group of migrants asking for their travel documents. It happened when I asked for an offer.

During the inspection, the three migrants refused inspection and became aggressive when told they would be detained without permission. They charged at Olivas and began hitting him with stones until he was killed. The three then fled the area.
Authorities launched a massive manhunt to capture the three migrants. By 3:50 p.m., officers had successfully arrested three men, identified as Ismael “N” and Carlos “N” from Venezuela, and Carlos “N” from Colombia.
During their arrest, authorities found various tattoos used by the Torren de Aragua gang on the two Venezuelan men.
Breitbart Texas spoke with a senior INM official who revealed earlier in the day that his colleagues and superiors recognized Olivas for his 30 years with the agency. His death caused great anger within government agencies.
