Mia Schem, released Israeli hostage, claims Tel Aviv fitness influencer assaulted her.

Mia Scheme, an Israeli hostage who was recently freed, has made serious allegations against fitness influencers in Tel Aviv, claiming they drugged and raped her in her own home earlier this year.

In a candid interview with Channel 12 last week, the 22-year-old spoke about the traumatic experience that overshadowed her life during captivity and resurfaced as speculation about the assault began circulating after her release in March.

“This was the worst fear I faced while in captivity,” she shared, expressing disbelief that such violence could occur in what she believed was her safe space, particularly after enduring the horrors of captivity.

During the interview, she recounted that a man she had met in three prior training sessions had suggested he could connect her with Hollywood producers interested in her survival story. However, the producers never showed up at the hotel for a supposed meeting, prompting a second meeting at her home.

She mentioned that the fitness trainer asked a friend visiting her to leave, citing the sensitive nature of the planned discussion. After the friend departed, both French and Israeli nationals reportedly could not recall the details of the events that transpired next.

“My body remembers it all,” she reflected. “But my mind struggles to piece it together.” Three days passed before she could even connect her physical sensations to the reality of the situation.

Gradually, some fragmented memories began to return, including unsettling instances of other trainers entering her room while she was undressing.

After a friend suggested she might have been drugged, she sought medical assistance, which confirmed signs of sexual intercourse.

She also noted an injury on her body linked to the alleged assault. However, the trainers in question have strongly denied any wrongdoing.

According to their legal representatives, Scheme resumed gym sessions just two days after the alleged incident, but they argued that she hadn’t fully processed her experience during that period.

Though the trainer was arrested recently, he was released due to a lack of evidence, and the investigation continues. His lawyers pointed to his release as a sign of his innocence.

The report concerning the alleged rape was filed about six weeks ago, as noted by various outlets.

Mia Scheme’s ordeal began at the Nova Music Festival, where Hamas militants launched a shocking attack, during which she sustained an injury and was taken hostage for approximately 55 days.

She was ultimately freed as part of a brief ceasefire agreement between Israeli forces and terrorist factions.

Amidst her traumatic experiences, she previously spoke about the persistent fear of potential sexual violence while in captivity, recounting a moment when the presence of the captor’s family offered her a sliver of protection.
