Miami luxury condos turn to branding deals with top chefs to attract buyers

Miami developers are expanding the branding of luxury condominiums to include everything from luxury cars and famous designers to world-class chefs and even luxury wellness centers to attract buyers, Sidedish research shows. Got it.

The city's vibrant skyline is lined with residential high-rises bearing names such as Porsche, Bentley and Armani/Casa, and will soon feature a 48th floor building named after Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. A new luxury building will be added.

Scheduled to open in 2027 in the Design District, Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences will offer condos starting at $1.6 million and feature the French legend's famous ABC Kitchen trilogy (ABCV, ABC Cucina, ABC It features a kitchen.

The restaurant will be open to the public, but wealthy residents can expect well-appointed apartments. Vongerichten designed the kitchen, from the appliances to the pots and pans. You can also restock your refrigerator with items before landing.

“Chefs understand all the details that create quality, like texture and color, so it's natural for chefs to incorporate their experience into their lifestyle,” Vongerichten said during a recent visit to the Sunshine State. When asked about the side dish.

The property, which has a motto of “all about taste”, is being launched in partnership with developer David Martin of Terra and Lion Development.

As Side Dish previously reported, before partnering with Vongerichten, Martin partnered with Carbone's parent company Major Food Group and co-developer One Thousand Group to launch Carbone Residences.

The 58-story steel and glass Carbone Tower, known as Villa Miami, relies on celebrity chef Mario Carbone to design the kitchen, which also features a refrigerator and bar.

The Cipriani brand is also well represented at Mr. C and Cipriani Residences.

Bringing in well-known restaurant brands to boost condo sales is nothing new. In New York, developers are anchoring luxury buildings with private restaurants run by the likes of Daniel Boulud and Vongerichten, who helms the kitchen at Billionaires Row's upscale 220 Central Park South.

But in Miami, partnerships with chefs, restaurants and wellness centers are the latest evolution in the home brand revolution.

This week, Martin will also be launching The Well Coconut Grove Miami, where side dishes will be available exclusively. The tower follows Well Bay Harbor Island, which debuted last December, and also includes commercial space, some of which was recently leased by Tom Brady for his family's offices.

An upscale wellness club with nutritional and medical programs, fitness classes, and the latest in longevity spa treatments, The Well has celebrity clientele including Brady, Emma Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Priyanka Chopra, and Nick Jonas .

“I think the key idea is to create an environment that improves people's lives,” Martin told Side Dish.

“When we start an idea or a project, we are trying to think about how we can improve people's lives. We use demographics and psychographics to determine who to target. We try to go through a very specific process to understand who the owners are who are designing, and the data helps us make decisions about who our partners are.”

Martin also plans to launch The Well Coconut Grove Miami, which will feature a luxury wellness club with nutritional and medical programs, fitness classes, and the latest in longevity spa treatments. The Well Coconut Grove

The health spa was co-founded by Rebecca Parekh, Sarah Hallock and Kane Sirhan, who opened The Well New York near Union Square in 2019. Class memberships start at $350 per month.

“So many of the people who come to our clubs in New York say they want to live here,” Sirhan said, adding that expanding from private clubs to residences is a natural extension of the brand.

“Wellness is a macro trend. Everyone with money is interested in longevity, fitness and weight loss. That's what they're spending their money on.”

In addition to a full market, the new eight-story Coconut Grove Residences will feature an “on-demand” juice and snack program, family meal preparation services, and an on-site cafe and restaurant, Sarhan said. It's planned.

The Well also has a doctor and nutritionist on-site and offers wellness-focused spa treatments including an infrared sauna, cold plunge, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and PLT light bed.

Buyers can also customize their home's wellness room, and the kitchen comes with a “healthy butler pantry with healthy cooking machinery,” Sirhan said, making cooking at home easy. Ta.

Coconut Grove sold 20 percent of its 200 homes in the first 48 hours and has contracts to develop new branded homes in Mexico, London and Texas, Sirhan said.

“When you look at the submarket, whether it's Coconut Grove or Bay Harbor, it's for an intelligent community of empty-nesters who move from house to building looking for services,” Martin added.
