Bennett denounced Democrats for allowing President Donald Trump to win elections in 2016 and 2024, saying the message was not going well. The Colorado Senator said the party should reconsider messaging that allows Trump to defeat them twice in the election.
“The Democrats were rejected. We lost to Trump twice. We didn’t lose to him once,” Bennett said. “And we lost to him, after he took the right to choose a woman, we lost. The first president since the reconstruction to strip us of radical citizenship, in my opinion, asks for a real question about what we are presenting to Americans. I have accused me of being away for allowing him to elect him to be a disaster in our country.
