More than a decade after Michael Jordan's $14.8 million Chicago mansion first went on the market, it appears a buyer is ready to pull it off the market.
The 61-year-old NBA legend has signed a contract with the buyer for the nine-bedroom residence. TMZ Sports reported. It noted on Tuesday that the listing is considered “conditional” and certain factors must be met.
According to TMZ, as of Tuesday afternoon the buyer had yet to be revealed.
The 56,000-square-foot home, which sits on seven acres in Highland Park, Illinois, was built in 1995 and boasts 19 bathrooms, a basketball court, an indoor gym, a library and a cigar room.
Other amenities at this property include a tennis court, infinity pool, three detached multi-car garages and the distinctive No. 23 gate.
Jordan, who won six NBA championships with the Bulls in the 1990s, originally listed the home for sale in 2012 for $29 million.
He reduced the price to $14.855 million in 2015.
Potential buyers will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement when touring the property. The Wall Street Journal reported..
