Michael Madsen filed for divorce on Wednesday, accusing his estranged wife of driving their son to suicide.
Madsen, 66, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation, but included a statement in court documents containing shocking allegations against Deanna Madsen.
“The reason given in the petition, 'irreconcilable differences', does not adequately explain the reason for filing for divorce,” his statement in the petition, obtained by Fox News Digital, said. “I have been separated from Defendant since the death of my son by suicide on January 25, 2022. I believe Defendant has driven my son to this state through his neglect, drinking and alcoholism.”

“The defendants also significantly contributed to my personal matters,” Madsen continued. “I was the victim of an abusive, codependent and toxic relationship and the defendants broke into my residence and falsely arrested me for domestic violence. When the bars of a jail cell close, the final curtain falls on any marriage or relationship, and mine was no exception.”
“I have been living separately from the defendant since my son committed suicide on January 25, 2022.”
Fox News Digital reached out to representatives from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, along with Deanna.
Madsen was arrested for misdemeanor spousal assault after the incident at the home. Malibu Home This was first confirmed by Fox News Digital on August 18th.
The “Kill Bill” star was transported to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station at 1:40 a.m. and taken into custody.
Madsen, 66, was released shortly after posting $20,000 bail.

Deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station responded to a call of a “family disturbance” on the affluent west end of the community just after midnight.
“The informant stated that an adult female claimed she had been pushed by her husband and locked out of her home,” Lt. Adam Dzeko told Fox News Digital at the time.
“Based on the initial investigation, police determined that Michael Madsen was involved in a domestic incident involving his wife. Mr. Madsen was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of spousal assault.”

Madsen and Deanna's son, Hudson, committed suicide at the age of 26.
The “Donnie Brasco” star said he was shocked by Hudson's sudden death, and revealed that his son had just completed his first tour of duty in the U.S. Army.
“There were no signs of depression,” Madsen told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. “It's so tragic and sad. I'm just trying to make sense of it all and understand what happened. He had the typical life issues people go through with money, but he wanted a family. He was looking towards his future, so it's devastating. I can't comprehend what happened.”
Madsen and Deanna married in 1996.The Hateful EightMadsen, an actor, and Deanna have two children together, Calvin and Luke, and Hudson also has two half-brothers, Christian and Max, from Madsen's previous relationship with wife Janine Bisignano.
