Actor Michael Rapaport has admitted that he helped spread the left-wing President Donald Trump’s “very fine people” hoax in Charlottesville, saying he was “wrong” to promote it.
Michael Rapaport spoke about the hoax in a recent interview on the Patrick Bett David (“PBD”) podcast.
“There was one thing I rant about about Charlottesville, and it was wrong,” the actor said. “If you look at the full quote, that’s not what he said.”

President Joe Biden continues to spread misinformation, even though a transcript of President Trump’s 2017 Charlottesville speech clearly refutes the misinformation.
As Breitbart News reported, Mr. Rapaport is facing a challenge to Mr. Trump in the November election, as the Biden administration continues to pressure Israel to scale back its war against Hamas to appease anti-Israel elements in the Democratic Party. He said he is considering voting.
“I’m not voting for Biden. I’m not voting for Kamala,” Rapaport admitted on this week’s “PBD” podcast.
The actor also said he would not vote for Gov. Gavin, a Democrat with “good hair” Newsom. “I just moved from Los Angeles. That’s not happening,” he said, citing the spike in homelessness and crime that has plagued the state for years.
Michael Rapaport previously hinted he might support Trump in a recent YouTube video.
“Dick Stein, the Donald Trump I had a conversation with…? I might vote for that son of a bitch. Oh yeah, I’ll break your heart,” he said.
The actor is one of the few celebrities to break with the left and publicly voice support for Israel after the October 7 massacre.
