New Orleans Saints wideout Michael Thomas says he’s not playing the “blame game” after a series of social media posts criticizing the team and quarterback Derek Carr. Ta.
The All-Pro wideout appears to be hinting at a divorce from the Saints, per X’s account, after a “bad ball” from Kerr during New Orleans’ 27-19 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He claimed that this led to a season-ending knee injury. November 12th.

Thomas also responded to another thread on X, explaining that there were many times during the season when he was open and didn’t get the ball.
“Unfortunately Derek Carr rarely pulled the trigger, especially after MT called him out on AT Perry’s play,” one X user wrote, to which Thomas responded: [Saints wideout] Chris [Olave] When everyone was scared. But remember, we’re not playing the blame game, you idiots. ”

Thomas suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 10 when he was tackled by Minnesota cornerback Akailbu Evans after a high throw by Carr in the first quarter.
He had 38 catches for 439 yards and one touchdown in the Saints’ first nine games.
Carr injured his right shoulder and suffered a concussion in the loss to Minnesota.
Thomas’ future with the Saints seems uncertain, but letting him go won’t be easy.
In 2024, he will receive a base salary of $1.2 million, a prorated bonus of $8.99 million, and a roster bonus of $2.2 million.

Thomas was selected by the Saints in the second round, 47th overall, in the 2016 draft.
The wideout led the NFL in interceptions in 2018 and 2019, was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year the same year, and led the league in receiving yards.
